The Lessard Thai is known for the Thai variety of sugar apple. This sugar apple is very sweet and can get large once mature. The taste of this sugar apple is very tropical custard with tones of pineapple & mango. The Thai Lessard Sugar apple seeds typically take up to a month to germinate. From seed, you can expect fruit within 2 years. The sugar apple tree once fully mature is relatively small (only about 10-12ft) and can be easily pruned for a shorter height. Fruit will be very scaley and bumpy compared to other sugar apple varieties. The skin on the inside is very creamy and sweet – grainy towards the skin.
